During the renovation, we have enough time to go over every single aspect a few times to make sure everything is according to plan and to minimize the possibility of deviations from the initial scheduling.
Renovation is essentially an investment people make into their home. As a company, we understand the value of this gesture. That is why from the beginning of our partnership, we try to be as transparent as possible. Our proposals feature each aspect of construction management, starting with planning out the entire project to the ordering of materials and services. This is done to show the client that there are no hidden fees and to give them a clear idea of what the budget is spent on.
After we start the project, we might run into some unexpected circumstances. Things that haven’t been foreseen before the start of the project. These situations might include the removal of the debris that was under the floor when we try taking it off or old pipes that need definite removal and replacement. Since these developments weren’t accounted for and the initial budget did not predict this part of the renovation, some extra charges might occur. Of course, as always, we consult with the client before making any decision to make sure the agreement is on both sides.
We are closely following the guidelines of safety at the worksite that are stated in the NYS plan. One thing that we do is providing all our professionals with proper personal protection equipment, which includes masks, gloves, etc. We also set up cleaning and disinfecting stations on the site to secure the ability of our workers to clean up the surfaces they are working on twice a day. We also put the responsibility on our professionals to keep track of cleaning those surfaces.
